How do I choose the right handbag?

Is all the hardware gold?
Most of our hardware (fancy name for the logos, zips, zip pulls, clips, strap connectors etc) on our bags is a gorgeous soft gold colour. Several styles also have a black hardware option available. 

What payment methods do you accept?
Payment may be by Credit Card, Shop Pay, PayPal or Afterpay. 

REFUNDS & RETURNS

Can I return or exchange a W&Z handbag if I don't like it?
We want you to love your Willow & Zac handbag. If you receive an item that is not what you expected, you may contact us to arrange to return your bag, no questions asked. See our Refund Policy

Do you offer a warranty or guarantee?
We have confidence in the quality of our bags and the craftsmanship with which they are made. Your bag will be protected by a limited one-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. See W&Z Warranty

SHIPPING

When will my order be sent?
On most occasions, your order will be shipped same day or next working day. Read more 

How long will my order take to be delivered to my home?
If you live in Australia, we will send your order Express Post with Australia Post from Newcastle NSW for free. Depending on the postal service, you should receive it withing 2-4 business days (obviously it is out of our control), but we will get it to the Post Office asap

Can I track my order?
Yes, you will be provided with the Australia Post tracking number to keep an eye on your delivery.

I live in Newcastle NSW, can I click and collect my order?
Yes! If you are local to Newcastle, and you don't want to wait for the post, you can arrange click and collect. Simply make a note at the checkout and you will receive a text message to arrange a collection time from The Junction, NSW.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to New Zealand and to the United Kingdom, but you will have to pay an additional shipping charge. Any import duties & taxes (including customs charges and local sales tax or GST) when your order arrives in your country will be your responsibility. Contact us to ask if we can ship to your country.

What material are Willow & Zac bags made from?
All our bags are handcrafted from high quality pebbled cow leather or printed suede leather, with high quality hardware and zips.

What is printed suede?
A quality suede with a print embossed onto the surface using heat and pressure, so maintaining the beautiful softness of suede, but adding a unique and interesting finish that also adds some protection for the delicate suede.

Do you have vegan-friendly options?
Sorry, no. All our bags are made from real leather.

Where are Willow & Zac handbags made?
Our handbags are handcrafted in a small factory in the Guandong Province of China. I have personally visited the factory on a number of occasions. It is beautiful to watch the  craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into each Willow & Zac bag. 

Why aren't Willow & Zac bags made in Australia?
As much as we would love to have the bags made in Australia, unfortunately the cost to match the level of craftsmanship is prohibitive, and most of our lovely customers would not be able to afford the price.

We are proud of the quality of our range. We carefully select high quality fabrics and include designer details such as customised lining, quality hardware and zips. Our handbags and wallets are handcrafted in Guandong Province China using traditional methods and the finest craftsmanship.

LEATHER & SUEDE
Our bags are made from high quality leather - either durable, pebbled cow leather; or a printed suede (quality suede with a print embossed onto the surface using heat and pressure). Printed suede looks awesome, but it is more delicate, and may require a little extra TLC. Leather is a natural material, and slight variations in colour and texture are normal and desirable, and part of what makes your bag unique.

CLEANING
Any leather cleaner or cleaner that you would use on your own skin can be used on your leather purchase. Marks can be cleaned with a baby or face wipe or with any suede cleaner. Always test any product on an inconspicuous part of your bag. Remember to protect your item again after cleaning.

If your bag gets wet, simply dry with a microfibre cloth and allow to dry naturally before storage.

PROTECTION
A commercial leather protection product may be used on our pebbled leather bags. We recommend testing on an inconspicuous area first.

Your printed suede bag will benefit from regular treatment with a waterproof protection spray. The spray will help prevent lighter coloured leathers absorbing unstable dyes such as denim, however, care should still be taken. Please ensure you cover any hardware or embellishment before spraying. Allow the bag to dry completely before using or storing.

STORING
When not in use, we recommend you store your leather bag (in her dust bag) in a cool dry place, away from heat and moisture. Never store leather items in plastic.

BEST TO AVOID
Avoid pen and ink marks on the leather.
Avoid makeup spillage and lipstick smears by using a makeup pouch.
Avoid rough surfaces that might scratch the leather.
Avoid overloading your bag, and so putting additional stress on straps and buckles.
